Street Art in Shoreditch
I always have a wander round the streets near where I work in the City, and one of my favourite haunts is around Shoreditch and Spitalfields. Shoreditch has changed massively lately since I was a teenager being dragged round Petticoat Lane and Brick Lane markets with my old Nan on a Sunday morning under the grotty railway arches. Now there’s hip and happening pop-up boutiques, coffee shops and a large Vietnamese contingency, with loads of great eateries in Shoreditch High Street. I found myself just off of Brick Lane the other day down a little side road and came across loads of street art in just one place! I also stumbled upon a tour guide with a group of people telling them about its history, and the famous artist from Madrid called Borondo that had actually done the painting. There are loads of these Street Art Tours that take place a few times a day, but you can just follow if you come across one, just like me!
