Beautiful Palazzos and Palaces in Genoa, Italy

Genoa was an unexpected delight; crumbling, like any other Italian city, but filled with beautiful ornate palaces, churches and Renaissance buildings which merits its World Heritage Site title.  It’s small enough to walk around in a day, from the port at one end leading to the main street, the Via Garibaldi through the centre.  There’s a labrynth of tiny streets housing individual shops and loads of places to eat their fabulous pizza and of course the Gelateries on every street corner.
