I love London, especially when the sun’s shining, it makes walking round our quirky little streets all the more enjoyable, especially when browsing for vintage and antiques, otherwise known as Vintiquing. One of the most enjoyable little gems I’ve grown up with is Camden Passage, hidden just behind the buzzing Upper Street, Islington.
Here you’ll find a mix of cozy cafes, beautiful jewellery shops, upmarket restaurants, fabulous vintage clothes shops and of course the antiques market with all its bric-a-brac. The street itself is only very small and only a few hundred yards long but it’s full of the most amazing delights, enough to keep you amused and occupied for a few hours browsing. There’s also a book market on Thursdays and Fridays.
Tips for Visiting Camden Passage
The nearest tube station is Angel and is only a short two minute walk away.
Upper Street and Chapel Market are also fabulous shopping areas to be found just minutes from Camden Passage.
There are plenty of eateries to be found including The Breakfast Club, Fredericks, Kipferl and loads of other cafes and restaurants.
